Giant Puffin Sculptures at Plémont

Highlight • Monument

The creations, made from forged steel and willow, were unveiled in April 2022 and stand at 4m high (13ft) facing each other on the grounds at Plémont.

They were commissioned by campaign group Birds on the Edge as well as the National Trust of Jersey.

There were four breeding pairs of puffins left on the island compared to more than 200 a century ago.

June 26, 2026,Von der Plémont-Bucht über den North Path nach L'Étacq an der St Ouen's Bay

We took line 8 from Liberation Station to the Portinfer Junction bus stop. From there, we headed towards Plémont Beach. The beach is only visible and accessible at low tide. Via the wonderful North Path Trail (Jersey Tidal Trail) we walked towards St Ouen's Bay. We took line 22 from the L'Étacq bus stop to return to Liberation Station.
