From Holzgau, you'll first cycle up to the suspension bridge for a photo opportunity (closed to bicycles), then back down and along the Rossgumpenbach stream, past the Simm Waterfall with its via ferrata (bergsteigen.com/touren/klettersteig/erlebnis-klettersteig-holzgau-simmswasserfall/) up to the Rossgumpenalm. Here, you'll park your bike and continue on foot toward the Kemptener Hütte.
