The old episcopal palace was built in 1756 and 1774 at the expense of Bishop Antoine Tinseau (1778). Upstairs, the three basket-handle windows are framed by an Ionic order supporting a triangular pediment where the episcopal arms, destroyed during the Revolution, were replaced in the 19th century by those of the bishopric. The current function of courthouse is recalled by the inscription in the entablature.
