Zuzenhausen station

Highlight • Rest Area

Quite nicely laid out, the station is privatized like everyone else on the S-Bahn line.
Located on the Elsenz Cycle Path and so you can make a detour from the cycle path under the railway bridge through there.

From the shady bench you can nicely watch the Elsenz. Always recommended for a little rest.

There is a barbecue and rest area here at the Elsenz. To grill, you should register with the Zuzenhausen municipality.

An old cabin in the woods! There are large devices in front of the hut, but the hut door was not opened this year if you look at the cobwebs!

Today's hike started in Zuzenhausen. We parked in the free parking lot at the Mühlenbäcker (a bakery). From there, we first walked along the Elsenz River and continued through the forest toward Hoffenheim. We passed the Dietmar Hopp Stadium and continued to the hut at Hans Klausen Feld and the Gigglerskopf Hut, then returned to the starting point. Overall, a …

Today, we took advantage of the beautiful weather in the Kraichgau region and hiked from Zuzenhausen via the Hoffenheim stadium to the Gigglerskopf Hut and back along the Elsenz River. There were still plenty of mushrooms to be found.

Started today at the train station in Hoffenheim, walked along forest paths in the direction of Zuzenhausen, past the Kalkofen Hut, Gigglerskopf Hut, Kolb Adventure Mill, back again, lots of forest - little field 🥾👍🌳🌞

Very nice hike, which is also good to walk in summer. It leads through shady forests and a bit along the Elsenz.
Several small rest areas shops always invite you to linger and enjoy nature.
