This scenic circular hike begins right in the heart of Groß-Umstadt, at the historic market square with its lovingly restored half-timbered houses, small shops, and cafés. From here, the trail leads out into the vineyards above the town – and soon, the view opens up to the vast countryside between the Odenwald and the Rhine-Main plain.

At the Heubacher Hexenhäuschen we went back to Groß-Umstadt with a view of the Otzberg Fortress. Unfortunately my battery ran out and I missed the last 2 km.
