In Frejus, the path to the dam is very well signposted. At the end, you just have to be careful not to drive into the first parking lot before the motorway bridge. Otherwise, you still have to walk quite a bit along the road, which is neither nice nor necessary.

The actual parking lot is behind the motorway bridge and offers a lot of parking spaces.

As we were there in September, outside of the high season, I can't say whether there are enough parking spaces in the summer. In our case, there was still a lot of space.

A well-signposted path starts from the parking lot towards the Malpasset dam, which repeatedly leads past signs containing information about the Malpasset dam and the accident.
