The hike leads to the highest peak of all the Aeolian Islands. You save a few meters of elevation if you start from the church. ;-)
The climb is very steep, but well built and beautifully overgrown. You often walk in pleasant shade.

Start in the morning, unless you like a lot of sun 😬.
We took the shortest route. Very steep but doable. The last direct climb is very overgrown. It's better to take a detour to the summit. Take water with you!!
