A door was built on the southeast corner to provide access to the park and a sun porch. With the addition of the west wing in 1937, the former single-wing mansion developed into a three-wing castle. The castle and lodging house were separated from the estate by a wall. Only one door and a wrought iron gate with a door led to the courtyard. From the castle and lodging house you could go directly into the park, which was created in the last quarter of the century when the ramparts were included on the swampy meadows and huts of the Fuhne lowlands.
