A pedal tour 🚴🏼🚴🏻‍♂️around the Mulde Reservoir 🌊🌊🌊 was an idea we put into action today. Since its flooding (1976), the area has lost some of its appeal for the average tourist. For geocachers and nature lovers, it's a joy to see how nature is reclaiming its habitat 🌳🌲🌳.

Also a very nice training route with the MTB. You roll along the Goitzsche on asphalt until you reach the reservoir bridge in Pouch. From here, the MTB mainly has single trails under its studs. Since the Mulde reservoir is unfortunately full of blue-green algae and you can't swim, we took a detour to the Goitze reservoir and jumped into the water to cool off a bit.
