We stayed in the upper Saale region today, but explored the Plothener Teiche, Knau, Ziegenrück and much more.
First, there was a steep climb of 380 meters in altitude from the Saale to Eßbach. From there, it became more relaxed, continuing on small, unpaved roads towards the Plothener Seen. These were wonderful, and we treated ourselves to a coffee there …
