Actually, we had planned a smaller road bike tour. But we were so well underway that we simply changed the route. But how could it be otherwise, we received the thanks for more kilometers with a longer off-road route that would have been better mastered with a gravel bike.

The area is quite nice. The bike paths are well-intentioned. They're fine for normal bikes, but rarely good for racing bikes; they sometimes end abruptly or lead into paved footpaths. But it was still fun.
