View of Schwäbisch Hall's Old Town

Highlight • Viewpoint

A very charming old town with many beautiful alleys and old, well-kept and restored half-timbered houses. It is very idyllic along the Kocher river.

Today, only good weather was planned 😆. It started with sunshine at 17 degrees. Over the Hall market stalls and the Kocher, it immediately went steeply up 100m in approx. 1km) towards Starkholzbacher See, then along the Hülbenbach (you only saw it occasionally) and from Wielandsweiler along the Rot on beautiful and less beautiful cycle paths to Oberrot and Unterrot. …

Very nice tour in a varied landscape. Almost all away from traffic. Only suitable to a limited extent for hot sunny days as there is almost no shade.

We started in Schwäbisch Hall in very nice weather and followed the Kocher-Jagst cycle path towards Wielandsweiler in the Rottal. Then we continued along the Rot to Fichtenberg. Via Gaildorf and along the Kocher-Jagst cycle path back to Schwäbisch Hall.
