Adige Cycle Path (Etschradweg) and wooden bridge near Lagundo

Highlight • Cycleway

Very interesting pedestrian bridge between Algund and Forst in half-timbered construction with roof and side walls. It is a so-called "covered bridge". The covering of wooden bridges was widely used …

The perfect place to rest. From here you have an incredibly beautiful view of Merano and the valley, in the background the mountains, just fantastic. For resting there are also tables and benches.

I don't really know what to write about today's tour? 🤔
I could write a lot about the fact that almost 1,500 meters in altitude on a 40km tour is much more exhausting than 100km spread through the Ore Mountains and how I tortured myself today and thought that I would never get to the top. 🥵
But on the …

After the great round last week from Marling to the Vigiljoch with brilliant trails (thanks Elmar 👍😅.. that's fine!!!), we had to go up again 🤣.... this time boring via Aschbach 🙄...then 1st part over the Stoanbruchtrail, then down a very fluid climb 🥳....but there are always a few switchbacks to master 🤩...very nice!!!

Great round...further down away from the famous Stuanbruch trail on beautiful, secluded natural forest paths 🤩🥳
I did the tour with my dumpling bike...again after a long time...had some concerns at first, but then it went very well 😅
On the path that leads down to Forst there is an unofficial sign prohibiting bicycles...since you cross a large mountain meadow …

Beautiful ☀ mountain bike tour via Aschbach to the Vigiljoch.

...that's it in South Tyrol. Tomorrow we go back. Rain ☂ is forecast for the next few days here in Meran.

Despite the e-bike, quite strenuous climbs on a mostly asphalted but quiet road.
On the descents you sometimes get water in your eyes 😂

Finally gained some elevation today. The small chapel in Aschbach is in a beautiful setting. The road to Aschbach is paved and easy to ride. The food at the Gasthof Aschbach is delicious. The liver dumpling soup and the huge portions of cake are highly recommended. The descent is along a very good forest path.

Tippy top tour 🤷🏻👍😎👌🚵🏻🚵🏻‍♂️

I had already done this tour but going up from Marlengo and doing the last part of the descent on asphalt. Today however I went up directly from Töll first on asphalt to Aschbach and then through beautiful woods and forestry to the church of San Vigilio.
The Stuanbruch trail starts from the Seespitze lake, first with 3 prepared super …
