The area was named "Senderwiese" (Sender Meadow) after a large radio installation from the 1930s. With a little luck, birds of prey, geese, and cranes can be observed. About halfway along the trail, it's worth taking a break at the observation post overlooking Lake Müritz.

Today by boat to the Bolter Canal, from there by bus to Boek and there hiked the "Pilz" circular route signposted from the Müritz National Park. Very scenic, but a lot of mosquitoes 🙄. Finally a rabarber spritzer 😜 and with the national park bus back to Röbel 😘
