January 22, 2023,Der Bergbaurundweg Silberpfad in Frauenstein
On October 11, 2014, the "Silberpfad" circular mining trail in Frauenstein was officially opened. We used the round for a short hike in this wonderful winter weather. There was about 20cm of snow. We would have liked to have taken the sun too...
But it was also excellent without it!

Today I went for a hike again after a long time.
Great weather and a bakery at the end, what more could you want.

My first glance was at the church there. Then the path led me to the castle ruins (admission = 7 euros, which also includes a visit to the Gottfried Silbermann Museum on the market) where I was able to enjoy the old ruins, chambers, cellar vaults …

Today, I took advantage of the mill day and the beautiful weather and hiked through the Gimmlitz Valley. A lot of other people had the same idea 💡.
At the Kummermühle, we had delicious kettle goulash for lunch.
