Today's Wetterzeuben (24.01.1209 documented mention) used to be two settlements, Podebuls and Wetterzeube. Up the raft ditch was the cul-de-sac village of Wetterzeuben. Podebuls was a settlement in the floodplain, on the Floßgraben with its mills on the White Elster.

My first hike of the year was supposed to be something different. I took part in a hiking meeting via Meet5. A very nice hike for four people, just around the corner from me, and with a delicious meal in the Haynsburg. 😊
