The Zeitz–Camburg railway was a branch line in Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia. It ran from Zeitz an der Elster via Osterfeld to Camburg an der Saale and thus formed a cross connection between the Leipzig–Probstzella railway and the Großheringen–Saalfeld railway.

March 11, 2026,Haardorf, Zuckerbahn-Radweg, entlang der Leineweh im Märzenbechertal nach Goldschau,

Haardorf, Goldschau…? Never heard of it! “Entdecker” went hiking in the Märzenbechertal (Snowflake Valley) near Goldschau, and that piqued our interest, since we already know the Märzenbechertal of the Aga near Ossig! Thanks,
Entdecker!

We were surprised by the Zuckerbahn cycle path, which is actually much greener than it looks in the photos. The hiking trail marked "Lämmergraben" (km 4.7 to 5.5) in the tour description no longer exists. You have to cross the fields, which certainly isn't possible at all times of the year. A shame. There are few alternative routes.
