The Brokeloher Heide and the Hermann-Löns-Weg in the Nienburg district are scenically extremely attractive areas, an interplay of heathland, light-filled forests, and sandy paths that invite exploration. I considered this route with the idea of offering a mushroom-picking tour there in October, as well as to clear my head today.
