After arriving on a short vacation in Metz, we immediately went on a tour. Unfortunately, the weather is a bit mixed - when it started to rain, we looked for a café for a few hot drinks and then made our way back to the hotel.

An incredibly beautiful city in Lorraine on the Moselle River, at the confluence of the Seille and Moselle rivers. With its magnificent cathedral, extensive city walls, charming old Vauban military architecture, numerous bridges, and a breathtakingly varied history, from the cradle of the Carolingians (Charlemagne, etc.) to the constant, exhausting back-and-forth between Germany and France.
