You can discover the history of sericulture (silk cultivation) in the museum housed in a former silkworm farm. Also worth seeing is the 1860 church built on the ruins of the 16th century church, of which only the crypt remains today, now converted to host cultural events. Finally, going up towards the heights of the village you will pass Place de la Time under the belfry and its sundial, marking the entrance to the castle of the lords of Lagorce, destroyed during the religious wars of the 17th century.

That was a very nice tour through Lagorce, Vogüe and Ruoms - all great old towns - my cell phone left me in Ruoms, so the recording ends here. Cycling on the railway line is great, but the sections via Lagorce and from Ruoms to Vallon-Pont-d'Arc are more varied. Here the cycle path goes steeply uphill and downhill on good …
