MTB Trails in Utrechtse Heuvelrug

Highlight • MTB Park

This is really enjoyable through a beautiful forest, lovely short hills, short bends. The course is excellently maintained.

Be careful as plenty areas of this trail have tree roots above the surface, some on corners like the one ahead on this photo. Some are worse than others

At the Austerlitz pyramid there are many children on the merry-go-round, but I have not seen any on bicycles.

View of the Pyramid of Austerlitz

Highlight • Monument

Quite strange, such a pyramid in the Netherlands. The Pyramid of Austerlitz is therefore the only one in the country and is located in the middle of the forest near …

Sections can be fast, be careful though as many tree roots are above the surfaces and can catch the peddles. Make sure you get the correct ride line

The short red route of Den Treek Estate was open while the blue one was closed due to the presence of a wolf pack. The route winds up and down and from left to right through the Den Treek Estate, a wonderful mountain bike ride with brother Johan and unfortunately we did not see a wolf.
