La Gorgoracha Pass – View of the Costa Tropical

Highlight • Mountain Pass

From the Puerto de la Gorgoracha, the view opens up over the Costa Tropical of Granada, where the blue of the Mediterranean contrasts with the mountains of Sierra Nevada and the green subtropical crops. A spectacular natural viewpoint that unites sea, valleys, and mountains in a single panorama.

The waters of the Presa de Rules reservoir meander through the mountains of Granada's Costa Tropical, forming an impressive landscape where the blue of the reservoir contrasts with the steep slopes and Mediterranean vegetation. A magnificent natural viewpoint between the Alpujarra and the sea.

Rubite Climb

Highlight • Climb

Hard ascent from the Costa Granadina towards the interior. Rough road, the kind that grab. From Castell de Ferro it is 19km to the junction, 22km to Haza del Lino.

View of Salobreña

Highlight • Viewpoint

The N-340 is very busy in Motril and the asphalt is mostly not that good. The hard shoulder (like everywhere else) is full of grit and stuff that ruins the tires. I would avoid the N-340 here.
