Highlight • Historical Site

The beautiful central square of Aosta during the Sant'Orso fair transforms into a real market. One of the symbolic squares of the city of Aosta, amazing both from an aesthetic and historical point of view.

After the upper - sometimes very steep and demanding - trail, the real pleasure begins here. So far, I've only rarely ridden such a gem of a flow trail. Big grins are the order of the day !!

Wow, what a beautiful section along the "Ru Neuf" irrigation canal. Since it's always slightly downhill, you get a lot of speed. Be sure to watch out for hikers and ring a bell early on.

The first few km from Aosta were by car, after that, the hell of uphill started. Quick breakfast at the hut, afterwards another climb. The last 250 meters in altitude we needed to push and carry the bikes. We were rewarded with an epic downhill to Aosta all the way from the top. Thanks to Michelle, great guide!
Minor deviations from the original plan were due to a group of kids occupying the entire trail, and the numerous fallen trees, some of which were truly challenging to overcome.

Up to Tza de Chaligne, it's a walk; from there, a trail begins where you pedal for one-third and push for two-thirds. It's a struggle. Still far from the summit, …

Sensational tour that leaves nothing to be desired. Long, easy to ride climb, except for the last few meters, which are too steep and impassable for my riding skills and legs. Brilliant and seemingly endless single trail downhill, alternately flowing and then more demanding. Inspired by Outdoor Active Thank you!

The panoramic mountain over Aosta!
The long driveway has everything to offer - asphalt, waterway paths in the forest, gravel road and, at the end, a good hour of pushing 🥵
The reward on the 2552m high summit is a fantastic view of the mountains: Matterhorn, Monte Rosa and Mont Blanc also look around the corner.
The descent is long …
