Apart from a couple of kilometers on the Val di Zena, the route is all on dirt roads or with practically no traffic; also practicable with a gravel, but the clay quarry requires dry conditions, and there are also a couple of stretches with important slopes.
The view on the ridge between Idice and Zena is beautiful.
