The first 40 km are on a road to Brenner. It alternates between easier sections and long, somewhat difficult climbs due to the gradient and the lack of experience with carrying so much weight on the bike. Today it was an oven with front air instead of circulating air. The scenery was an absolute dream. The views when climbing up to the Brenner and then back down again. Indescribable! And from Italy onwards the most amazing cycle paths, in great condition and well signposted. What a developing country Germany is in that respect.
