Due to heavy rain, the Castel di Sangro Pescasseroli Avezzano stage was cancelled. We crossed the Marsican Park, populated by the famous bears, and upon arriving in Avezzano by minibus, we took advantage of the end of the rain to still climb almost 900m in altitude up to Ovindoli.
