This abandoned 2,300 meter long railway tunnel is located on the old Madrid-Burgos direct line. This line, inaugurated in 1967, has a tedious construction history, with the first projects emerging at the end of the 20th century. XIX, with several failed plans at the beginning of the s. XX and with its construction beginning in 1928. Currently, this section of track is not used, the trains circulate on another route, which makes passage through this dark tunnel safe, as long as flashlights are used inside it.
