On July 17, 2015, in the presence of Bishop Ryszard Bogusz, who is also the ex officio administrator of the Evangelical-Augsburg parish in Legnica, and the President of the City of Legnica, Mr. Tadeusz Krzekowski, the notarial contract was signed, on the basis of which our Evangelical parish is the legal owner of the property in Legnica at Mickiewicza (Luisenstrasse) 36.

The municipality acquired this property from the Treasury without a tendering process with a 99% discount. It is compensation for the lost property of the Evangelical Church in Legnica after World War II. The only building that previously belonged to the parish was the Church of Our Lady on Marienplatz. Apart from the church, the Legnica community has had no rectory, no community center and no place for community meetings, and the clergyman's apartment has been rented by the city for many years.
