The place is only really interesting, even if paragliders are traveling and starting from here. Especially in bad weather, it is not worth making a detour here.

September 23, 2022,Runde um Hohenneuffen
The first autumn day was so beautiful that I had to go straight after work.
@Gaby gave me the inspiration for the tour because she did it with her mom a few days ago.
Thank you very much, I really enjoyed the tour. However, I added a detour.

A bit of fresh air, without the strong wind it would have been a little nicer, but well...at least no rain😅

There is still plenty of snow on the Alb ❄️☃️⛄️. So let's get out and enjoy the white splendor.
We started near the viewpoint glasses. Then we are always along the Albtrauf to Hohenneuffen. Kiosk and restaurant are open. We went on to the Wilhelmsfels and then back past the quarry.

We hiked one of our favorite routes along the Albtrauf with friends. The view was unfortunately a bit cloudy, but it was still a beautiful route.
The highlights are
- Brille viewing point
- various viewpoints and beautiful rocks
- Paraglider take-off point, but not in operation today
- Barnberg cave, currently closed in winter because of the bats
- …

Marvel at the grandchild from Dinkelsbühl in the direction of Freising 😆 then in the direction of Reutlingen into a wonder of beautiful nature .. then we went straight to Hohenneuffen Castle, which was really well restored .. an amazing view, very nice path through the forest in fantastic weather .. well here I'll stay for now 😁🍁🌻🚌🌞👍

April snow tour near Hülben to Hohen Neuffen and along the Albtrauf back to the hiking car park.
The trees were covered with snow today. You couldn't get enough of the wintry nature.

Showing Translation

Relatively flat tour to the Hohen Neuffen castle ruins. The path mostly runs along the wooded Albtrauf. Short detour to the Barnberger cave located below the path. This little detour is only recommended in dry weather.

After the Barnberg Cave and the Höllenlöcher, it was time to light the barbecue fire for our red sausages. Refreshed, we then went up the Hohenneuffen. The falconer was there today with his owls, falcons, eagles... Finally, we went up the Heidengraben Tower and looked out over the dull, foggy Alb.
