“In early times, settlements were founded on the banks of rivers or lakes. This was also the case with Mragow (formerly Sensburg, Zadzbork, Zadzbork), founded on Lake Czos. The lake water was not always drinkable. That's why they dug wells or looked for springs, called "Krynica". There were already wells in the city itself in the Middle Ages. But the surrounding area is rich in springs. At that time, the "Love Spring" was also called a health spring. Previously, there was no shortage of water for household needs in Mragowo. But there was a lack of good drinking water. The residents drew it from the spring located at the foot of the hill on Lake Czos.
