The demolitions for the construction of the downstream conduit were of considerable technical complexity. The two new turbines, each 9m long and 7m in diameter, then arrived from Germany on an impressive cart.
The result: higher efficiency thanks to more efficient machines and better water recovery. Thanks to the replacement of the turbines, the power plant located on the Meuse now produces 33,000,000 kWh per year, or the 100% green consumption of 8,000 households.
