Last night I walked the newly constructed storm path. This path was built in the area destroyed by the fall wind of 2021. A very special path, where you can see that new life is coming back between the fallen trees 🌿 then taped to it around Breeveen. A beautiful heath area and wonderfully quiet! 🥰

In June 2021, a whole piece of forest was blown over in Leersum. The Utrechts Landschap has chosen not to clean up the remains, but to leave the devastation behind. New nature is now developing, the forest is recovering. Via the Stormpad platform you can see the damage, but also the young storage.
