Adige River near Gargazzone

Highlight • River

Beautiful, nestled in the valley and surrounded by mountains. Beautiful sight! 👍 The route is not particularly difficult.

Those who like monotony are in good hands on this cycle path. On one side the river, on the other a railway line. Here it is more advisable to drive along the wine route. Right through apple orchards and small streets.

Via Claudia Augusta Cycle Path

Highlight • Cycleway

Along Adige river on one side and apple orchards on the other with Dolomites in the background. Excellent cycle path - great asphalt, smooth, you can ride fast. Lots of rest areas.

South Tyrolean Wine Road

Highlight • Cycleway

The wine region in South Tyrol. In addition to great refreshment stops, the wine route offers an interesting insight into the facets of viticulture. Of course, you can just go for a bike ride or hike there.

South Tyrol and fruit growing
With 18,500 hectares, South Tyrol is the largest contiguous fruit-growing region in Europe. Six billion apples are produced here every year. Lana is the largest and at the same time one of the oldest fruit-growing communities in the country and is therefore ideal for a museum presentation of the topic of fruit growing.

Nice short bike ride from Lana to Malles. At the waterfall in Vilpian we were able to cool off a bit in the hot weather.
After a very delicious lunchtime snack, we went back to the Buschenschänke Pirscher for dinner. Relaxed hosts and delicious food, highly recommended
