Our first hike of our vacation started from the guesthouse directly through the Gaisbach Valley to the Karalm. After a short coffee break, we continued toward Bernkogel. At the Bernkogel/Rauris fork, we hiked back toward Rauris. A challenging section across alpine meadows followed. The trail then continued through the Lackwald forest back to the village.
