Note: with the summer opening of the mountain huts (end of May) the section above Malga Costesin is fenced off for grazing. Alternatively, from Casara Mandrielle continue towards Camporosa'. On the way back, be careful of possible traffic in Val d'Assa from the Larici al Termine junction.
