Today we went to the black pine forest near Leinach again. The red fox showed the way over springy paths to the main path on the Volkenberg.

A footpath runs a few meters from the wide, gravel path, so that you can optionally continue walking on the soft pine needles.

Beautiful circuit high above Erlabrunn and Leinach. Very varied with narrow paths, many places with a view of the Main valley and the Main. Interesting that Falkenberg Castle was built directly opposite Ravenstein Castle high above Erlabrunn. The ruins of the watchtowers were probably the observation towers for the outposts. The panoramic view from up here is incredibly beautiful.
