Conca is a town located 20 km north of Porto-Vecchio in Freto and forms the northern end. Conca is not directly on the eastern plains, but in the surrounding hills 5 km from Sainte-Lucie de Porto-Vecchio. Conca has virtually no trade with the center, because the people who live there are five kilometers away, in the village of St. Lucia (city of Zonza), a supermarket, a kiosk and a pharmacy, which added the hawkers (including daily bakers ), sufficient to meet current needs.

This village is typically Corsican with some "big families" where stories abound to tell the younger passage in the village. It is noteworthy that even the so-called "continental" Corsicans are very enthroned in this small village in the mountains that is the end point of the famous GR20 hikers.
