Each of the 3 aprons is suspended from two parallel reinforced concrete arches by concrete pillars. The parallel arches are secured by superstructures also in concrete. The sidewalks are located outside the arches. The overall width of the set is 12.20 meters. To give it a sufficiently stable base, it was necessary to dig the foundations of one of its piles up to 38 meters below the level of the Saone.
