Section of the GR-124, also known as Senda Real, is a long-distance trail that runs through the Community of Madrid (Spain). It begins at the Príncipe Pío Station and ends, after a route of 47.5 kilometers, in the town of Manzanares el Real, in the Guadarrama mountain range. Although it was approved as GR in 1999, its origin dates back to the old path that linked the Real Alcázar of Madrid with the El Pardo palace, although the current route also uses other historic paths and livestock trails.
