Marchlinden of Buchberg (Court Lindens)
Highlight • Natural Monument
Until the beginning of the 20th century, the Marchlinden trees were one of the last places of justice where courts were still held. According to the information board, the trees were planted in 1315. Wind and weather have left their mark over this long period, and a storm felled one of the large linden trees in 2007. A new tree was planted in its place. The second linden tree then felled victim to a storm in 2023. A second, smaller tree has since been planted. Today, the trunk lying there provides a habitat for insects and small animals.
