The Hot Chocolate Sparrow

The Hot Chocolate Sparrow is a local favorite in just off of Main Street in Orleans. This candy shop, ice cream shop, and restaurant serves everything from decedent slices of tiramisu to delicious sandwiches and has an extensive selection of candy you can take for later! Try a Frozen Hot Chocolate if you want a cool treat before, during, or after your ride!

Cape Cod Rail Trail (Orleans to Eastham)

This section of the popular, multi-use Cape Cod Rail Trail runs from downtown Orleans to Eastham. This is a general flat, easy section of riding, but it can get very, very busy in the summer so be prepared to share the trail with others.

Cape Cod Rail Trail — Marconi Station Road intersection

Highlight • Cycleway

I'm not sure what this highlight is showing, but it appears to point to the Cape Cod Rail Trail. This trail is a very popular activity during the summer months although at no point on the trail can you see actually see the ocean. In the outer cape that this highlight points to there is a visitor's center for the National Seashore in Eastham which has a different bike trail to the beach. The whole outer seashore here has high cliffs, somewhat course sand, and very strong waves. Watch out for Seals and White Sharks!
