Seaside Cove and Seltzer Park

Highlight • Beach

Seaside Cove is a popular destination for surfers and is also located at the Oregon Coast Trail. Take some time to watch the waves hitting the round-shaped rocks. You might find colorful starfish between them. Seltzer Park is just on the other side of the road and has (picnic) benches, a drinking fountain and restrooms.

Lewis and Clark Road

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

This road is a fantastic route through beautiful valleys and untouched and heavily forested areas, all part of the natural beauty that makes up the Pacific Northwest. Far less busy than the coastal route, you'll have a much more peaceful ride here, with several places along the way to stop and enjoy the scenery. However, due to the narrowness of the shoulder, when traveling through the winding stretches of road, you'll need to be aware when you encounter car traffic.

Astoria-Megler Bridge

Highlight (Segment) • Bridge

Longest continual truss bridge in North America. Bit spicy on a bike but ok.

Astoria Victory Monument

Highlight • Monument

The Astoria Victory Memorial, also known as The Soldier's Monument or Doughboy Monument, is a landmark dedicated in 1926 to honor the brave Clatsop County WWI veterans. A magnificent ten-foot bronze statue stands at the top of the monument, a smaller replica of the one titled “Over the Top at Cantigny” created by John Paulding. It is a cherished part of American history and has been listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Public Coast Brewery

Highlight • Pub

This local brewery is the perfect destination to unwind after a long ride. There is a fantastic patio complete with fire pits and games, creating the ideal atmosphere to relax and enjoy a pint of their delicious beer, a juicy burger, and some of the best onion rings you'll find on the Oregon coast. You can also watch the process of beer-making in action. If you're in the mood for a picnic, you can always take your favorite ale to go in a crowler or a growler!

Haystack Rock

Cannon Beach is a small coastal city in northwest Oregon. It’s known for its long, sandy shore. Standing tall in the ocean, Haystack Rock is a seasonal haven for tufted puffins. Silver Point Interpretive Overlook

Highlight • Viewpoint

This viewpoint offers a breathtaking view of the curved coastline, framed by the cliffs that face the ocean. From here, the capes are staggered and create a fantastic panoramic view, which is great for photos. If you look to the north, you'll catch a glimpse of Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock. To the west, you can see the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean, with the famous Tillamook Rock Lighthouse visible in the distance, and to the south, you can see Arcadia Beach and a hint of the old road at Hug Point.
