"The Tuscan Column, dating from 1766, is located in the western part of the city, at the radial intersection of 1000-lecia PP Street, Kraszewskiego Street, and Jana Pawła II Street. It was erected on an earthen embankment. During World War I, it was surrounded by a fence with plaques commemorating Austrian and German soldiers who died in 1915.
