After having run Stage 18 earlier today, I did Stage 17 as a 2E. The first largest half was mainly flat. After that, I had to climb quite a bit at Duivelsberg. The 2nd part was a lot more fun than the first part.

Beautiful route and weather piece through Germany. First through agricultural landscape and then up a beautiful dam, along the Duivelsberg and up and down again towards Groesbeek. Halfway through we enjoyed very quietly, at a respectful distance, a wild boar with six striped youngsters. After two wonderful days, also done with PieterPad. Back in a month (or two).
