October 17, 2022,💯 Meran 🇮🇹🚴
Imperial weather in South Tyrol and sun 🌞 full, pleasant temperatures. Today's destination is the spa promenade in Meran.

On the way there we took the Adige Valley Cycle Path from Neumarkt to Meran. The way through the city center of Meran was a bit car-heavy, but it was still possible. As expected, both the promenade along the Passer and …

Today's Easter Sunday bike tour with the e-bike took me from Meran via Bolzano to Lake Caldaro. The route was super alpha and quite varied. For long stretches it went along the Adige, then again past the orchards and a bit up and down to the lake. This is beautiful, but you can hardly approach it directly as a cyclist. …

Actually, a quieter day of cycling in the valley was planned today - but then a few kilometers and meters in altitude came together again 😉 The aim was to cycle through the vineyards to Kaltern as far away from the larger roads as possible. Day 2: Bolzano - Merano
Today's stage takes us first along the Adlige-Etsch to Lake Kaltern and then on through the picturesque Vinschgau to Merano.
The whole tour went on super great asphalt bike paths in bright sunshine through the fruit-growing areas. Just great.

Reached Bolzano 💪started in Merano with clouds. Towards the south it became sunnier and warmer. We left the actual cycle path and cycled through the villages and apple orchards and vineyards. 🤗🤩

Then a detour to Lake Kaltern. We swam there and charged the batteries. A wonderful 24 degrees.

Then we headed towards Bolzano...our destination for today 😊

I took the train for a while, so I only traveled 48 km. The train route could not be deleted.

Our first bicycle tunnel around Frangart
Driven through the beautiful old town of Kaltern
Very good lunch at Albergo in Branzoll

Half-way back to Schenna always inflate air and a squeak because of broken brake pads oh my god 🥴
Friendly and fast bike service in Schenna
