As beautiful as the area is... I was totally shocked by the huge areas of dead forest. Some of the trees have been cleared, some have fallen over, some are just dead skeletons. It's crazy! You can see this clearly in some of the photos. Some areas are currently being reforested. If I've seen correctly, the seedlings are Douglas firs. …
