The Gredl cycle path in Middle Franconia is a former railway line from Roth - Greding. Ideally developed for gravel/racing bikes/inliners. There are some signal systems at the edge of the road and countless information boards.

Today's bike tour followed the railway line of the former Gredl local railway. The local railway was built between 1885 and 1887 and ran between Roth and Greding in order to revitalize the region economically. It was decommissioned between 1972 and 1998.
