The VHC Laubach chose the beautiful Westerwald for the 2023 hiking weekend. A total of 14 fellow hikers set out to explore the “Romantic Lake District” on the first day of hiking and the “Green Trail and Lake Trail” on the second day. Today we walked the southern loop of the 7 Weiher hiking trail.
This round is longer than the Nordschleife, starts again at the forest playground near Steinen and leads relatively directly past various ponds in the Westerwald lake district.
