We didn't like the first part of the Hiwweltour past paddocks and rubbish.
Only after the second rest stop, where we got to know Dieter (British Bulldog) and the owner, did we like the tour better.

The paths were freshly mown and cleared.👍
Although they weren't "highlights" in that sense, they did offer great views over Rheinhessen. 🤩

The paths were easy to walk on and there were plenty of nice places to rest.
We took a break in a hut, which was a welcome alternative in the cold.

This was a gift (Jochen Schweizer) from our children, so we also received some food. So we were able to extend the 10km to a good 4 hours.

If you only start at half past three in January, you should expect dusk. But it was still quite nice with a bit of 🌞 and a little tour was needed.
The almost 10km of the Hiwweltour Stadecker Warte were just right.
