View from the Isar footbridge

Highlight • Viewpoint

From the jetty you have a great view of the Isar. Watch the almost 300-kilometer-long river on its journey to the Danube - it is just incredibly relaxing. :)

Ellbach and Kirchsee Moor

Highlight • Natural Monument

The Ellbachmoor and Kirchseemoor have been under nature protection since 1940. Here you can see cotton grass, maybe also a carnivorous morning dew and many species of insects and reptiles only found in bogs. But please don't leave the path.

I don't know the Ellbach Moor yet. Today is the day. We hike 🥾 fairly flat from Tölz there and back. The witty Luigi lets off steam from the work week 😤.

The old town of Tölz offers a welcome change with a pit stop ☕️🍰😁.

Beautiful route near Bad Tölz. Great view from Kalvarienberg (where the Leonhardifahrt will be going again on November 6th), varied walk down to the Isar and great views through the Ellbacher Moor.

Showing Translation

Beautiful and varied circular hike around Bad Tölz in beautiful weather. The view from the Kalvarienberg is always beautiful and the Ellbacher Moor is worth seeing even in winter.
